Holcim replaces Beckum cooler

Holcim is modernising its Beckum pyroprocessing line with a new state-of-the-art Pendulum cooler. The project represents a EUR20m investment and is expected to significantly reduce the plant's thermal energy requirement as well as CO 2 emissions. Terex Material Handling’s Demag Service team has completed a major refurbishment and upgrade of a Demag crane system at the Cemex cement production facility in Rugby. The plant is Cemex’s largest UK operation, working 24/7 and outputting over 5000tpd.
